Board  Print

Board Members' only area.

The first official UKAAF board was elected by members at the first AGM on 15 September 2009. This group takes over from the Interim Board who led the organisation from its incorporation (November 2008) to the first AGM, and we are grateful to them for the excellent work they delivered.

The Board comprises twelve people (6 officers, and 6 ordinary members), many of whom are blind or partially sighted.

For this first board, positions have been allocated on a rolling 1, 2 and 3 year basis from this first AGM so that one-third of the board is re-elected at each AGM.

We are proud to have as our President an eminent advocate for the rights of disabled people, Lord Low of Dalston CBE.
